Week in Review: 2017.9

The first day of spring is a little over two weeks away, which means it’s serious seedling time around here. As the weather outside remains erratic, inside the seeds are starting to grow and thrive.

CREATIONS

A big batch of pottery got glazed, and will be fired over the weekend. Very exciting!

Over with glass, I finished my matte piece, which I sandblasted before the final firing…

I have another set of platters in the works that I’m super excited about, using more of those iridescent pieces that you can see above. Love it.

FOOD

Not too much to show this week, as I made a lot of soups/stir fry/burrito bowl standards that aren’t very unique, picturesque, or inspirational.

But these Beet Balls were pretty incredible…
