Last night was a celebration.
Not only was it the first day of summer, it was also the Book Signing + Season 1 Wrap Party that I teased last week.
Here I am with my lovely cohosts: Heather and Emily.
Heather is the creator behind YumUniverse and was sharing her newly released second cookbook, and Emily and I were raising a glass to celebrate the completion of the first season of our podcast. (Heather was one of our first guests!)
It was a gorgeous night in Pittsburgh and we held our event at Studio AM, a uniquely eclectic and inspiring art space/restaurant/jack-of-all-trades venue.
There is artwork at every turn and a vibe that makes you want to settle into one of their big couches and make yourself comfortable, which is exactly what we did.
The menu was inspired by Heather’s cookbook and featured an array of 100% plant-based and gluten free bites including polenta + guacamole, spicy pad thai, tomato salad, quinoa, and more. Delicious!
Dessert came from a new bakery in town: Gluten Free Goat (also 100% vegan + GF). The cupcake flavors were Blueberry Rooibos, Coconut Caramel, and Salted Chocolate. Gorgeous crowd pleasers!
It was so wonderful meeting more local ladies and talking podcasting, blogging, creativity, wellness, and so much more. A lovely evening celebrating so much goodness and women supporting women in Pittsburgh!
